Visual Music Ink™ founder and CEO Georgina Capristo-Gajdosik, a writer and visual artist has worked in various areas of media production and creation most of her life. From radio station manager and on-air personality, to wholesale music distribution and marketing.
However, it was at CRN International, a radio promotions and marketing company where Ms. Gajdosik honed and perfected her marketing and creative abilities, managing the creative production, promotion and trade elements of media campaigns for brand giants such as Dial Soap, Apple Computer, Hormel Foods and Campbell’s Soup.
Ms. Gajdosik entered the film industry in 1998, writing feature screenplays and working in the capacity of locations manager and location scout.
In 2003, she produced an original short she penned entitled LOVED, ALONE (under the Dark Cloud Productions banner). With Beth Winslet in her first leading role and featuring UK television star Alexis Conran, LOVED, ALONE had its premier at the Los Angeles International Shorts Festival and Film Fest New Haven, enjoying an opening weekend on both coasts. The short film screened in a number of US cities and eventually landed with Sky TV in the United Kingdom.
In 2011, LOVED, ALONE enjoyed a reemergence as an official selection in the New York Filmmaker’s Festival, Silk City Flick Fest and New Haven CT’s Dreamland, standing out then as the only selection shot on 35mm film. Soon after, the film was picked up by Cinify for worldwide digital distribution, the only short film in their catalog.
Working closely on LOVED, ALONE with BBC Studio director Indra Bhose, Cinematographer and Producer Paul Gavin and Hollywood Score Composer Lorne Balfe, Gajdosik furthered a desire to produce an original music film called (MAKE ME) BLUSH. Gajdosik’s original script placed in the Semi-Finals in the Filmmaker’s Int. Screenwriting Awards with over 1,500 entries.
